Cowling to Keighley Reservoir (via Hitching Stone)

Difficulty rating: Moderate, though the last few miles are a bit of a balancing act at times!! Such climbs as there are, are very gentle.
Distance: 9 miles
Description: A quick walk to blow the cobwebs away.
Accessible by public transport: An hourly bus between Keighley & Colne, alighting at Post Office, Cowling (5 min walk to start of route).
Start Point / Parking: The village Post Office (SD 973 431). Park with consideration in one of the side streets.

The Dog & Gun Walk

Distance: Approx. 5 miles
Description: A fairly level walk to a popular ‘food pub’, with the option of a bus back.
Accessible by public transport: An hourly bus between Keighley & Colne, alighting at Cock Hall, Cowling (5 min walk to start of route).
Parking: Outside Holy Trinity Church, Gill Lane, Cowling. Grid Ref SD 967 430.
