The fight goes on...
By Janice Scott
I could crawl inside a vat of gin.
So much to do, and time is short
I'm sure there's something I could snort!
A simple end to my despair
Maybe just a change of hair ...
Or head,
Is the way
To succeed today.
Despairing of the way to go
I wish that I could only know
The answers
Then peace would fall
And sleep return at my call
Insomniac or stresshead
I just wish I could sleep in bed
Answers please on a postcard
This is becoming hard
For me
To pretend
As an outsider, looking in
Is it in a vat of gin?
