David Hoyle & Norman Binns - Tales & Cowling Bye-Names - CD
As the village of Cowling grew many of the family names became common throughout the village. As so over a period of time bye-names (nicknames) became a popular way of referring to people.

To explain it from a Cowling point of view on the 24th March 2007 David Hoyle & Norman Binns spent an afternoon with Ken Edgar recording their vocal joint memories of local places and people and Cowling Bye-names.
