“Hi Rebecca,
I went to look in my diary to give you the dates and found i didnt even have them! will let you know as soon as i do. I emailed you so you didnt think we were all being ignorant in not responding to your request.

“Hi Rebecca, The Autumn term starts on Monday 7th September, it's quite a late start this year. I hope that helps and that your son settles in and enjoys his time at Cowling school. My eldest son is due to leave this time, he has really enjoyed his time there. I have a feeling there will be lots of tears come the end of term!”

“thank you ladies, my son has recently had his first full day and he really enjoyed it, the school seems to have a lovely environment so I am sure he will settle fine. Good luck to you son Kathyrn as he starts secondary school in Sept.”

“my son is also starting in september and is feeling quite tense about the whole thing. he is not 4 until august so will be one of the youngest in the year but i'm sure after the first week they will all love it and we will have worried for nothing. it will be lovely to get to know you all as our children build their friendships. good luck with the section Rebecca.”

“Kay, He will be fine and before you know it, he will be making new friends and inviting them back to your house for tea!

It is also a nice way of making new friends in the village not only for him but for you.

It really is a fantastic school with even more fantastic staff.”

“Hi Kay, It is worrying isnt it? IS this your first son at the school? It is mine but after pre 5 and the half day visits, I feel abit better and think its great the head teacher seems so involved. Did your son go to the pre 5 on a Thursday afternoon? My son did so will hopefully have remembered some faces come September! Its a big thing for them all and I am sure they will be fine. I look forward to chatting at the school gates waiting to hear how our kids days have been!! Thank you for the good luck wishes :) have a good summer.”
