“What a great weekend it has been ... Unfortunatley spoiled by a mindless yob/s on Saturday night who proceeded to "key" 4 or 5 cars on Cross Street. We had a family friend over for the weekend - As he loves the area we live , however he has now gone back to Lincolnshire with a bill for around the region of £650 .
This is an estimate for his car - there were 3 others as involved well.
First question I have is "WHY ?".
This is pure mindless/ reckless vandelism and I really hope that "what comes around goes around".
I am sure that the person/s that did this , if they are reading this will be feeling very proud of what they have done and will no doubt brag about it. It insense's me that these yobs feel that they can get away with it. Lets hope that these idiots make nice money - buy a nice car then get it keyed - see how they like it.
Police have been informed about this as I believe that this also happened a couple of weeks ago.”
