What can I submit to the gallery? |
|
A: |
Pretty well anything you think other people would enjoy
viewing on the site. The only rules are: Photo/s must be:
Cowling Related, Within Cowling or About Cowling. By submitting
anything to Cowlingweb you automatically give permission for it
to be used by Cowlingweb. From May 2005 a record of anything
submitted to Cowlingweb will be kept for future reference. |

How do I send a photo to add to the gallery & can I send
more than one? |

A: |
Simply attach the image/s to an email and send us them
via the > Contact
Us < page. Please include a Title & Description for each image and also who
the photo is credited to. Feel free to send as many as you like,
full credit is given for any photo used within all the
Cowlingweb galleries.
Please note: If you are sending
multiple images, please spread the the images over multiple
emails attaching no more than 5 images per email. |

What format & size should the photo be? |
|
A: |
Any PC or Mac image format is fine but if you can please send
it as a ".jpg" using the best compression (or highest quality)
setting possible. High compression will make a smaller file
size, but will blur your photo and we won't be able to use it.
Size of the image should be resized to 800 pixels wide. File size should be no larger than 300kb
per photo/image |

How long will the image stay on the gallery? |

A: |
Indefinitely. Although we might archive or categorise photos
in the future. |

How do I delete a photo? |

for wanting the photo removed. Please note it is at Cowlingwebs
discretion to remove photos so a genuine reason for removing the

I do not have a scanner but would like to submit some photos
/ postcards / information ? |

A: |
If you live locally we will be happy to arrange a suitable time to come and scan the images in your own home.
Identification will be shown on request. If you are not local
please contact us for a postal address to send anything you
would like to submit. Return postage is FREE and we promise to
look after & return your property in the same condition it was
sent. Please Note: When sending anything of personal value make
sure it is insured & has to be signed for on receipt. Cowlingweb
can not be held responsible for anything going missing in the
