About Springhouse
Springhouse is a historic building dating from the Victorian
industrial age, originally built by Mr John Binns Circa-1850-60. Mr
Binns was founder and owner of Croft Mill which produced textiles.
The mill was demolished in 1977.
The house has had several owners since including monks of the order
of Pious x. Fortunately the house has retained many of its original
features and is still in keeping with its heritage.
Quality food is served in style in the Albert room. The dining room
retains many of its original features. Traditional English breakfast
is served.
Each bedroom is well equipped with king size master bed, TV,
hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities. Family
accommodation can be provided by addition of a single bed or travel
cot.
Today, Springhouse is not only a warm family home but is also a warm
and friendly bed and breakfast. |
